Is there such a thing as a too large egg?

Hi,
O.K. I found this HUGE egg in the girs favorite laying spot today. There was no blood or anything but, should I be concerned about the hen? it weighs 2.9 oz! All of their eggs are getting larger but this was a shock this a.m. I put the 1/4 cup measure in for size comparison. I cant even close the egg carton on it!

is this O.K.?

I've had a couple like that. They were double yolkers.

I've had a few like that too. One was a triple-yolker. I'm pretty sure they must hurt. Poor chickies

I got a bigger one than that today--I seem to have hen that lays these double yolkers several times a week.
