I have Johnny Jump Ups blooming in the garden and a few dandelions around.

I walked out to look at the hive. I saw a fair number of bees coming and going. Cleansing flights, maybe? I don't think there is anything in bloom now.

We've had a couple of days with frost, but we still have a lot of flowers blooming. Supposed to be mild this winter, so far our fall has continued to be mild. We'll have to wait and see what happens.
We still haven't blown out our irrigation lines. Hubs always waits until the last minute. We need to mow one more time and get some leaves off of the lawn. Maybe this weekend, then he might water once more.

We are only insulating the top.

I need to go back and find this. So, if I'm understanding this correctly, he's saying don't insulate the sides?

I saw some dandelions, a couple of weeks ago, but haven't noticed any lately. I'll have to look for both tomorrow.
