I just put my eggs into lock down. I have one Partridge Wyandotte that I just don't know what to think. The eggs are on day 19. This was a shipped egg.
When I candled them last night, I thought that it had died. There was still clear in the bottom. But then the little sucker moved!.

Have any of you had a slow developing egg and, if so, what was the outcome???

Thanks
Sherrie

I'm interested in the responses also.

I'm at day 18 and have 2 embryos, very alive, but about a third of the size of the others.

I'm supposed to be heading into lockdown, but these wee ones aren't nearly ready.

It hatched on day 22 !!! I really thought it was a goner. Sure glad I keep mine in unless they are clear or stink!!!

My eggs didn't hatch. They were alive at lockdown, but when they didn't hatch I opened them and it looks like they didn't grow at all once they hit lockdown.

I couldn't really call mine late as they hatched on day 22. What was weird was that at lockdown the chick only took about the middle third of the egg. I was really surprised that it hatched and seemed to be a bit small but very healthy
