I got poults from a borboun red tom and a broadbreasted white hens, and half the poults came out white and the other half were the color in the pic. Is there such a thing as sex-link turkeys?

The sex link genes are brown (e) and naragansett (ng). The 50/50 hatch you got has nothing to do with the sex. Your white turkey can carry all colors that are hidden under the white. Your white turkeys eye color can give a clue as to what she has hidden.

Ok thank you. I didn't think it was posiblle from my cross. I just thought it was funny out of ten babies, there were 5 white and 5 brown with markings. I love my turkeys the hen is so freindly and so our the poults.
