There are a couple of us here in VA that believe we may have gotten Dekalb Amberlinks from TSC (due to coloring, growth, etc.). However, mine have grown VERY quickly (they're twice the size of my NHRs that are only 1/2-week younger), so I'm wondering if the size of the combs, wattles, etc. is proportionate to their growth rate, because I cannot find ANY info on Dekalb roosters, only pullets/hens. Is there such a thing as a Dekalb rooster?

Thanks!

Where there are hens, there are roosters. Yes, there is an Amberlink rooster. If it's like most red or gold sexlinks, the males will be mostly white with red in the pyle areas (sort of the sides of the wings). I haven't seen a Dekalb Amberlink that I'm aware of, but generally, the same is true of all red sexlinks.

Thanks!
