Is this 3/4 week old Jersey Giant a rooster?

I've been raising this Jersey Giant chick for 3 or 4 weeks. And now I'm starting to get a little concerned whether or not it is a rooster.
Here are pictures.

My concerns stem mainly from:

1. Comb and wattle development.
It's comb and wattles developed a little earlier than its hatchmates.
And at least to me they are noticeably redder than the barred Rock and Blue Australorpe I have with it.

2. Behavior.
It has a tendency to stand more upright. And seems to be more alert than its fellows.
Seeming to watch us whenever we pick up other chicks.

PS yes I know the brooder that it's standing on is a little small. The brooder is not mine.
And those are Rhode Island whites in it.

This is also my first time raising Jersey Giants. And I only have one in this flock.
So I don't have anything to directly compare it to.

I agree, especially the wattles. The comb and upright posture are pretty strong hints too but for me the wattles clinch it.

That is a Jersey Giant, which tend to be fairly slow to develop. With those developments at that age it is a boy. Sorry.
Yes I noticed it was slow to mature compared to the other ones.

That's a shame because me and my wife were hoping to keep that one. She even had a name for it.
Katana. Which yes I know is a Japanese sword. But in Hebrew it means small.
Kind of based on the same idea of calling the big guy tiny.

Thanks everyone.
