This is a very large...bird.. and seems to have the same characteristics as my RIR rooster.. they get into it quite often.. now nine weeks old? Just wondering if it is a rooster.. I would like to make decisions early.. way before real trouble brews!

He's beautiful, if he were mine, I'd keep him if I could. I have to agree with the others, he looks EE. Nice-looking bird

I'd like to know what breeds/colors the mom and dad are.....

When I bought him through the local hatchery..one ....it was supposed to be a she....and two I already have a RIR rooster...they have been together since one day old..do you think this is going to be a problem?

and two she was sold as americauna?

Hatcheries don't sell true Ameraucana's they have just taken the name to confuse people

here is the link to the Ameraucana Society www.Ameraucana.org He is a beautiful EE that would give you some real good color. In my limited hatchery buying they are the second most mis-sexed we have bought with leghorns being the first.
We have several roosters living together and for the most part all get along just fine..they have their moments but hens have them as well. I would keep him unless you have a problem.
