Barred Rock. Look at the pics on the first page. YELLOW egs.

on page one you said dominique and now you say barred rock. neither one lays an egg that dark.

If you google Cuckoo Maran and then click on pictures, you will see quite a few with yellowish legs. They look very similar to this bird pictured by the OP. I am a newbie and do not know much, but just wanted to point you in the right direction if you wanted to see pics of CMs with yellow legs.

Sorry, wasn't leaving. Wanted you to know I appreciate the argument.

Just really confused now. I'm guessing BR also. Wishing it was cuckoo. Looking at the pics of chicks I can't see a difference in them other than the legs. So that didn't help me. Guess I'll never know for sure. Don't stop arguing on account of me.
