Is this a BB

This guy's 6 months old has decided my 10 year old son is the arch rival and after looking at him next to my bourbon red tom he looks a little wide chested but he also may be about a month older than the red. His feet aren't giant his toes maybe a little smaller than a man's pinky finger. I can get more photos if you need.

He is 27.6 pounds

27+ lbs. at 6 months old is either a BB or a BB/heritage cross. Most likely a cross.

I think thats what's throwing me off is my reds are pure bred and the same age as these and I been comparing the size of this one to them and wondering why theyre the same age but totally different sizes. My bourbon red tom is also not any where near as mean as this guy. I think we'll freezer camp him.

My turkey hen has decided she wants to sit on the unfertile chicken eggs. Should I grab a few of her eggs from the incubator and put her in a nesting box and let her hatch her own eggs or just leave em in the bator and keep running her off the nest. One set of eggs in the bator have a week until hatch. I also have 4 in the hatcher that will hatch this monday, Tuesday.

If you want her to start laying again, break her from being broody. If you give her eggs to hatch and let her raise the poults, she may be done laying for the year.

She laid this morning. She just lays and never leaves and when the chickens try to lay she takes their eggs to. I blocked the door up so the chickens can come and go but she won't fit in that coop. There is another large coop 5x5 coop she can get into and lay that the chickens don't use at all. I think she's just being a drama queen.
