I don't have a Bielefelder rooster, but I have 4 pullets. The coloring/pattern is similar, and their legs are yellow.
Maybe you could ask wherever you got him from? To me it's just a mix, as not many are breeding purebred chicken's anymore.

Thank you!Legbars are the only large breed I can think of with white earlobes, so he could be a cross of that will something like a Rhode Island red. Just no way of knowing for sure. Bielefelders, Welbars, Rhodebars, barred rocks, cuckoo Marans and Dominiques all have red earlobes. I think California grays might have white lobes, but those aren't too common nowadays.
