Is this a big egg?

It's hard to tell without anything to compare it to, but if that scale is right, that's a huge egg.

We have 2500 hens here and have packed up over one million eggs in the past year and a half. I've seem some huge ones here, with a number of quarter pounders, but the biggest I've ever seen was five ounces. Your egg ranks right up there with some of the biggest I've ever seen.

Thank you for posting that picture I am still trying to figure out the posting pictures thing on here. I have some other pictures with that egg next to a normal egg I will try and get them posted later after work.
