Hello all, I’m new to this site/forums and new to this breed. I grew up with whatever hens and roosters that would show up.
I think this is a rooster as it usually gets up front of the flock of all the ones that look like pullets.
Would just like to know for sure.

:hmm Hmmm… I did get these from Rural King and I’ve heard all sorts of complaints about them. What breed do you think it might be?

Im pretty sure those arent australorps. Australorps are solid black from head to toe and the bottoms of their feet are pink not yellow. I would say some sort of mixed breed. Do you have another pic of the one on questions back side? I'm thinking cockeral.

I'm gonna say cockeral just based on the difference between him and his sisters
Thanks and there are two others like him. He’s just the one the stands out the most between all three that I suspected to be roosters. And oh dear…
They are about 4.5 weeks old now and were listed under Black Australorps at Rural King
