Is this a black Australorp?

I got one of my chickens in September from a flea market, it was just a chick and I asked what breed it was, unfortunately the "breeder" (Or just the guy selling them) didn't know what it was, do any of you have any ideas?

Probably although it's difficult to tell his leg color-- they look a little lighter than I would expect from an Australorp, but it could just be the lighting.

I had a black Australorp rooster and it looked similar to that. What colour are his legs?

His legs are that colour, I think the lighting changed it a bit (I have bad memory, I can check in the morning)

does he have leg mites- above the toes, his feet look gnarly

I would say no, because the legs are not the correct slate color. Could be a close breed or mix.
Edit to add: australorps also sit a bit more heavy, like a buff orphington. More plush and larger body.

Is forgot to say that his "sister" (Or chick that I bought him with) had grown some yellowish feathers at the top of her head and neck (sorry for the ruffled feathers and missing eye,she got a really strange infection as a chick and has cured but her feathers haven't)

Doesnt look as stocky as the ones i have had. Could be tho.
