I don't know, mabye it takes a few molts for the tail to longen out.

Their tails grow for years, it has a pretty good-sized tail for being so young.

I'm not an expert on ornamental birds, I know alot about eggers and meaties... but ornamentals confuse me.

i actually bought them off a lady ... he is about 5 months but the females are identical to phoenixes... another thing ive been looking online to see if i find anything that shows me pictures or a video of black breasted phoenixes when theyre young but no luck

they want me to get rid of him but i need to know what he is before i make a mistake

He is a Phoenix.
Gamefowl would have Red ear lobes..

He is what looks to be a BB Red (Black Breasted Red) but the BB Red is a unrecognized variety of Phoenix.
