Is this a Black Orpington?? * clearer pictures of face/neck feathers!

We got Princess 4 weeks ago and it was as black as black could be.....

Now 4 weeks in, it's color is chaning. It's neck is laced with silvery white tips and her back has golden threads running through it.

Is she a Black Orpington or is she something else??

If she is a black sex link, a commercial black pullet, then she is a pullet. The whole purpose of sex linking is to sex them at hatch.

Did you get her at a feed store, TSC??

Yes feed store and no not TSC, a local feed store in town. They get them from a hatchery and all are supposed to be pullets.​

There is not a commercial hatchery that offers Black Orpingtons.

I'm thinking she is a Black Sex-link for sure.
