Black Star 1.jpg

Long Version--you can skip as this really isn't necessary.
I am revisiting this thread. Yesterday, I rehomed 4 birds. I am pretty dang sure I know who/what I gave away, but now I am missing a very young black star/sex link. I did give away a black star, but she is a huge and older hen. When I was in the coop yesterday, I realized I could no longer identify my black star pullet. I'm pretty sure she just started laying and all of my pullets are starting to look henish. They are very recognizable to me, except the black star. No one looks like a black star anymore.

I think one of my pullets just started laying because I have 2 light brown pullet eggs and my other pullets are blue eggers or blue copper marans (and the marans are not quite 20 weeks old, so it's a little early).

I finally, finally ordered leg bands. Once I get the roster untangled, I'll never let myself get this messy again!

Short Version
Can you help me identify my birds. Somehow, I have lost my black star pullet.

Photos 1 & 2 I believe is a brown leghorn mature hen.

Photo 3 I believe is an EE mature hen.

Photo 4 is a group shot for whatever it's worth. Clearly, I can identify the Khaki Campbell duck and the red sex link.

Photo 5 I think is an EE, but I'm not sure.

Photo 6 By default should be a 20 week old black star but does not look like that to me.

There are 6 additional pullets in the henhouse not shown because I know exactly who is who.

Thank you.

None of the birds pictured have the same comb as the bird shown previously. Plus patterns don't change that drastically after a pullet is fully feathered and reddening up. If you didn't give her away, then she got out of the coop some other way because none of those birds are her.

Well what the heck? I am super confused. I count my chickens every night and none is missing by number.

I definitely gave away a black star yesterday, but only one (the one that I used to start this thread). The others were a white leghorn, a RIR, and another chicken who I had a hard time identifying, but looks like a brown leghorn and also was mean to my pullets. I'm not sure what she is, but she is not my young black star. I am seriously confused.

What do you think those chickens in photos 5 & 6 are?

They're Easter Eggers.
