I'm fairly inexperienced at candling eggs, but today is day 7 on my guinea and americauna eggs. Can somebody tell me if this is a blood ring?

Very hard to see.

Can you shine the light in the fat side of the egg and get another picture?

Tried to get a better picture. My camera isn't very cooperative in the dark.

Thank you. Just wanted to double check. 🙂
Luckily the rest of my eggs are looking good. Out of 34 only 4 are showing no signs of development, and that one has a blood ring. Fingers are crossed for an equally lucky hatch rate.

Do you have calibrated thermometers in your incubator?
[/QUOTE]

I have a thermometer, and hygrometer in my incubator. The readings have been good so far, also have them in the automatic Turner. I'm incubating in a Nature right 360. 😁
