I though it was a boy upsetting to hear we cannot have a rooster. What kind ignore person does this and cons people we paid 70 for the two amen im sure the hen is older also. I think the now we knoenrooster is young ?

Can you get better pics before we decide anything? It is possibly a hen, but I doubt it. The hackles look pretty pointy to me

So I have two one we think is a boy, after closely looking at the picture of the bird I choose to what I woke up with this morning it looks like a rooster. The man said both were 100 percent hens and laying the hen has a lot of hair loss and red by the tail and the other is unbelievably a boy well so every body is telling me how do I know for sure tomorrow I’ll take a full body shot of him or her I’m very upset and scared my neighbours will hate me if he starts to make noice. When they got deliverd from illford to Croydon last night it was pretty dark I was speaking with the man for days before they delivered them. I bought them every thing and its turned out so wrong I don’t even know the age of them he said one year. The rooster is tiny compatning to the hen. It’s also totally white. I’m totally confused thanks for the reply guys

Hmm, it could be a sussex,
he might have been mistaken, I'd call him and let him know your concerns about gender.
