tntstanifer, your photos are way too big, people on dialup will be waiting a month of sundays for this thread to open!

That bird looks a lot darker than my Buffs, which doesn't mean yours isn't one, it's just a lot darker. Facially it definitely looks like mine.

Reinbeau, if you have dial up, ANY picture will take a month of Sunday's to open. DSL is a real blessing, after having dial up for eons. And don't anyone tell Reinbeau to get it - she probably lives someplace where it doesn't exist yet. Like us til a year ago :)

She is a BO. I have light and dark ones and love the darker plumage on them..they bleach out less as they age.

She looks almost EXACTLY like my buff Orp pullets, at least at a young age. They have gotten much "rounder" as they've gotten older. Here's some of mine that looked like the one in your pic when they were a few weeks old (the ones with red combs are the cockerels).
