Is this a chicken…. Or something else? Im a bit confused

So a neighbor that lives about 2 houses down, came to my door and brought me this baby chick? She said that a bird had it in its beak or claws and that it dropped it at her house. She thought it was one of my baby chicks but it isnt. So since a bird had it, i wanna make sure that its actually a chicken and not some other bird breed or an eagle. Anyone know if its a chicken? If so, what breed? And is it male or female?
