Our sweet puff ball, Aunt Fanny, was an orphan we took in as we started our little flock.
She is around 6 months. The only girl not laying.
Some advice was that she was Blue Bantam Cochin possibly?
What does Bantam mean?

Thank you

She looks like it, if her comb is single. (Separate points sticking up)

Bantams are the miniature version of large fowl.

She should start to lay soon, some of my hens started to lay at 6, and some at 7 months.

Good luck.

You're correct. They're slower to mature and don't have reputations as the greatest layers. But, they do go broody fairly often and make good mommas.

Thank you for all of your kind responses and help.
It is hard to picture her as a mother because she is by far the most sheepish in the flock.
She is lovely and always my daughters first choice to get out to "play" with :D
