I bought 10 chicks a few weeks ago that I thought were pullets but around 4 weeks this leghorn started to get a really big comb and wattle. I’m pretty sure it’s a cockerel but I just wanted to get other opinions as I’ve never owned a rooster before (The chickens are around 7-8 weeks old in this picture)

It doesn't look like a cockerel to me! Cockerels have long, pointy saddle feathers, and pullets have rounded, petal-shaped saddle feathers. That's what maks me think this one looks more like a pullet, but the saddle isn't completely clear in the photo.

At four weeks saddle and hackle feathers will be rounded on both genders roosters will become pointy at about 5 months so that is not an accurate judgment. A pullet would not have that much comb and waddle growth at that age that is a cockerel.

x3, a cockerel. As @Jsam5 said, he is too young to be showing any pointy saddle feathers (around 12 weeks is when they start coming in). Notice also the pullet in the background and how small her comb/wattles are compared with his.
