Is this a cockerel?

ChickView attachment 4130105View attachment 4130106 is about 4 weeks old, Polish, Easter Egger mix. The tail is starting to make me think he is. Thank you for your input!View attachment 4130107
Almost 7 weeks:
Learning towards Roo now. It was charging at a pullet twice its size.

9 weeks, hopefully he'll be nicer than his dad.

Too early to tell. I don't see much red in the comb, and roos won't get their signature tail feathers until 12-16 weeks (I think... someone correct me if I'm wrong). Really cute and unique looking chick!
I've got a chick that's early to mature, crowing already, started getting in Saddles at around 4½ - 5 Weeks of age, it's now 8 weeks, & has Saddles, & sickles starting in the tail.

The wait until 12-16 week range isn't 100% as there's so much variance in how quickly a chicken matures.

Woo! I didn't know that and that is a big 8 week old cockerel. Thanks for the information. I can see the Saddle feathers.
