Just finished looking up pics. I think you nailed it! Now I just need to hope its a pullet. Wonder if the mixup was at the hatchery or with TSC.

Likely TSC. TSC mislabels things all the time and I have heard a lot of stories about them

I will never for the rest of eternity buy another chick from TSC. Cornish X were 2 bucks a bird which is a lot cheaper than ordering online, but if 1/3 are not meat birds how much am I actually saving?

Not really, If you order enough they really aren't cheaper. Rural king does rebates sometimes and sometimes they where you buy certain chicks and get on their website to do a rebate, so it is like it was free. They do this with meat birds every so often

[/IMG] I picked up these "cornish crosses" at TSC but i doubt they are cornish. Not the best pictures but could anyone confirm.
