Is this a Coyote or Fox?

Coyotes are in our area, and people near us have spotted them, and we are almost possitive that this is a sick coyote and not a fox, but can anyone tell me if they think otherwise? I just wanna get a second opinion. Thanks!

How big is it? Whatever it is it looks sick. See the open sore near the tail? Animal control should be notified because a sick animal like that can spread disease easily.

That is definitely a mangy Red Fox. Black legs with a red coat. He is in rough shape.
