Is this a cute little RIR hen or a roo?

What do you think? Hen or roo? It's about 3 months old I believe. We are leaning toward roo but not sure.

Due to body shape (my hens are more dumpy like, rounder and not so leggy), the thickness of those legs, and the slight curving of the tail I am going to have to go with boy as well. However, the face is arguable. My boy is a little smaller, but my neighbor’s rooster that is around the same age has a larger comb/wattles then your bird, and his hens are slightly smaller. But, once again they don’t have the same body shape.

But, we can still hope that it could be a girl.

Im going to agree...my RIR pullets hardly have any comb and are they same age or a little bit older....

I agree with everyone else. The body shape, and size, the tail.........looks like a roo.

Thinking about the color, my neighbor ordered some RIR from Agway and they are all that light, and have little streaks all over them. It seems to me that hatheries (or that one) are not being very selective on their RIR color, and actual pure RIR is extremely rare. Or, as said before possibly there was a mistake with NH.
