This is a baby we rescued. The man we got it from has 2 Easter Eggers mixed with a tun of other chickens 🐔. Just wondering if this little one is the baby of one of those gals. Thanks so much for y'alls help and have a great rest of y'alls day😁.

Looks like an EE based on the pea comb and the possible beard (Ameraucana is a common part of EE breeding). Would be helpful to see the legs and wings, but mostly I have read that EE have slate colored legs and feet. I know mine do. Does she?
Also, do you know the age? That comb looks kind of big and pink for a baby, unless she's a 16+ week old "baby." 😊

How old is that baby? Cause if it's a large fowl chicken (no bantam heritage) around 5-6 weeks, I'm pretty sure you have a roo. Also, all EEs are a mixed breed. Yours has muffs, so it has at least some EE heritage going on.

It has yellow legs. And is about 3 or 4 months old.we don't know exactly the age. When we rescued it the guy said the mama hatched it about a month ago when we first got it. We have been having trouble though on the gender. We already have a roo and don't have room for another coop. So, we're hoping it's a little girl but not sure lots of folks are saying cockeral. If it's a roo we'll probably just have to find a new home for it. The hard part is finding folks who won't kill it for being a boy😔

About 3 or 4 months old

Oh, what I just saw what you mean. I honestly have no clue. It's saying g I reposted it today. Buy I didn't, idk maybe I did on accident 😅
Okay lol that's what I was wondering! Glitches happen sometimes too, never know. Either way, looks like you're getting some good answers. I can't say for sure if it's a cockerel. I had a hen whose comb and wattles were big and bright starting at 12 weeks old. It happens. But if it is a cockerel, you should be able to see the beginnings of hackle and saddle feathers pretty soon, if not already.

It looks like a pullet to me. Would you let us know in a couple weeks?

Also, I've only seen that deep red color on Rhode Island Reds, personally. You might have an EE mixed with RIR.

Here's a comparison photo of an Ameraucana mixed with Rhode Island Red.
