Is this a frizzle cochin chick?

Almost 2 weeks old. I thought this was a cochin bantam? But I've never seen feathers behave this way so wondering if it is a frizzle? Any guess on gender? Pics in comments.

Also second comment is a silkie, but I am,new to silkies and wondering if it is a regular or splash silkie? The others of this color don't have spotted wings.

Yep, looks like a frizzle cochin chick. Too early for gender. Not looking like a boy at this point, though.

The silkie isn't splash or white-- it's buff.

They called them brown as TSC so I figured buff. I've got 3 whites and 3 buffs then, and one black!

They are very cute. Silkies can take a long time to sex. If you're impatient you could send in for the genetic tests that can tell you more quickly.

The color of that Silkie isn't quite right for buff because of the black markings on the wings, but it's the closest thing I can think of. It's not dark enough to be a red Silkie, in my opinion.

My guess is female.. the males comb is over the nostrils, where the females start behind it.
