Is this a Frizzle?

I recently got several baby chicks from a hatching at the elementary school I teach at. They are various breeds donated by the owner of a local feed store. I have some neat chicks from them including an Ayam cemani and lavender Orpington. I was thinking this was a maran BC of the feathers on the legs, but it looks like these feathers are starting to frizzle. What do you think? And if it is a frazzle when would I be able to tell?

What a pleasant surprise! I have been wanting another frizzle since I lost mine. Would I be able to tell if it was frazzled?

Yep, looks like a frizzle to me! What a cool feed store to have all those cool breeds!

If it's from a hatchery it probably won't be frazzled, they would lose customers fast if some people got frazzles. I love frizzles! Good luck with yours!
