Okay, do I have been thinking for the longest time this guy (girl?) is a roo...
By his looks, and he keeps everyone else in line.
But all of his siblings, that ended up being roos cockadoodledoo, and he doesnt.. plus I have seen some of my barred rock roosters trying to "mate" with him..

The pictures are not the best,
But what do you think?

What a pretty EE!

Do you have a better picture of his feathers on his back? My first instinct would be roo, but it could be a hen that developed an unusually large comb.

How old is your EE?

I'm thinking hen. By the time that comb would be so red, wouldn't a cockeral be showing hackels and saddle feathers??

How old?

This looks like a pullet to me. The Roo is always king but there is always one hen who will be the alpha- queen. First in the pecking order, first to roost, first to eat/drink, first everything. I have a 12 wk. pullet that will sometimes give my Roo a bit of a challenge and if danger seems in the mist, she if the first to be out in front of her flock ready to protect! She even went after my nephew's curious dog. Dumb dog thought she wanted to play!! lol

Plus by 3.5 months if he/she was a Roo they'd be crowing and the wattles would be prominent.
I definitely say pullet.......she sure is pretty!!!

I cant get any better pictures till later, and thank you I love him/her. All my friends think its scary looking because it has LONG naked legs, and almost no tail.
He is about 3.5 months.

At 3.5 months I believe a roo would have hackle and saddle feathers .. I vote pullet.

I vote pullet also...beautiful girl....by 3.5 months there would be crowing or at least some saddle feather/hackle feather evidence...more so then here...
