Is this a good deal on an incubator?

If you find anything out about educational discounts, let us know...I teach 3rd grade and hatching some of my own
chicks would be a good project for life cycles.

So far the only answer I've gotten from them is to check the educational tab on the Brinsea website and the online specials. If I hear anything else I'll be sure to let you know. My class is working with a 1st and a 2nd grade class on our hatching project. Each student is adopting a lower grade student in each class and they will take notes and record everything together. The older students will be assisting the younger ones in researching in the computer lab and looking up information on hatching. I've gotten such great websites from this site we have plenty to use!

i have an R-Com 20 Pro up and running right now next to a little giant 9200 and, can i tell ya, the R-Com is MUCH easier to use. it's keeping the temp and humidity very steady. the LG . . . . not so much.
for a newbie like me the cost is WORTH not worrying.
drawback is that it only holds 20 eggs and the LG holds a lot more. a lot more COOKED eggs probably but still . . .

anywhoo, will have to see if anything hatches but so far i can say "go for it"

p.s. if he only used it once it seems like it is, for all intents and purposes, practically new right? offer him 250.00 and see what he says. if he sells locally he won't have to pay for shipping so maybe he'll go for it!

So far it looks like it might be worth it then, but I will offer less. He said it try it out on a hatch and see if I like it so I'll do that!
