is this a good way to get mites out of the coop?

daughters coop is invested with mites. from what I've read, If she cleans the coop out and puts down lime then new wood chips and maybe some stall dry and sevens,plus dust the birds. Do you think this will take care of the problem? To cold to hose down with bleach or any thing like that.

Then dust floor with Sevin dust 10%. Then replace litter and dust each chook. May require re-dusting them after 7 - 10 days if eggs are present and hatch out on the chook's bodies.
