Is this a grapevine?

Sooooo, we moved into our house in October. I noticed this vine over winter and it looks like it's coming to life just like the grapes we planted this Spring. Maybe all vines look like my grapes this early on though--I don't know.

What do you think? Does it look like grapes?

Yup, it looks like a type of grape to me. Probably a concord grape. They grow wild in New Hampshire and they make a good jelly.

Thanks SkyWorld.

I'll be interested to see what I'm working with there. It's at the corner of a fence--I'm not really thinking that it's a wild-growing grape. I think it may be something that the previous owners planted. They also left us a couple of sour cherry trees and some other fruit tree that I'm not sure of yet.

My only concern if it's a concord is that [hopefully] it's seedless. I planted 5 different varieties of seedless grapes this Spring, and polination from a seeded grape could produce seeded grapes on my seedless plants. I've got a couple years to play with while my other vines get up and going, so I'm not too concerned about it for now :).

Happy gardening, my friend!
