Is this a guinea egg?

Soooooo...that egg was a fart egg and this morning I went out and checked her pin bones she was 3 fingers wide! I went back in the afternoon and walla a little tiny nest under the coop made of sticks with a little tiny pointed egg in there.I took me up to a point were I had to slam the egg on the counter to crack it barley open! It was a hard egg!

In short...she layed!!!!!!!!

This is a picture of her pointy topped egg that was overly hard and the tyolk which had a bullseye!

I don't know...what other species are laying eggs, and where, and are they confined? Our guineas laid very light colored eggs. We had several colors of guineas. Here's a pic taken when we discovered they had been using this tub for a nest...they were free range and we rarely found the nests until they were loaded with eggs and too late for us to use. And this from 5 guineas. We don't have guineas any more tho.
Looked just Luke these

That's awesome the males were guarding the nest!

My giant blue Cochin is broody I'm gonna collect guinea eggs and hatch them to sell or something.
Yes, it is normal for the male to guard the nest while the hen is laying an egg. I have watched the males play the "broken wing" ploy to lead other guineas on a chase as they lead them away from the nest.
