I've been keeping chickens for about fifteen years but I'm stumped. I bought this as an easter egger hen about three months ago. It hasn't played and it doesn't crow. I saw it mounting one of my other hens yesterday. Can anyone tell me if it's a rooster or a hen based on the photo? I'd very much appreciate any advice.
