I have had babies with head feathers (Silkies, Pavlovskaja, Polish). From what I understand and have experienced, the more compact the head feathers, the more likely it is a pullet. The cockerels have a bit wilder feathers, sticking out all over the place. Good luck!

Agreed. @MysteryChicken might be able to tell. But if you see any sort of gurth in that comb, it's probably a cockerel
