Is this a hen/roo????

You may want to take a look at the examples given by the OK State University as to how to decipher between males and females just by looking at them:

The top shows a male with long, pointed hackle and saddle feathers, just like the one of the OP:

The bottom one is the female with rounded hackle and saddle feathers. The female also lacks the elongated sickle feathers that the male has.

Roo....and probably hasn't crowed because you have two roo's. If you separate him from the other he should start trying to crow in no time.

When dealing with SLW, the males and females have a different look. This is obviously a male. Please remember that not all lines of birds mature at the same rate, therefore they are not going to crow or lay at the same age as other lines you have encountered. Education people, education!
