I know this gets asked a lot and I've looked at A LOT of pictures of rouens. I feed wild mallards every day so I'm comfortable with identifying them. But I'm curious about this one. The duck on the bottom is a juvenile rouen hen. The duck above her is the same age (they were found together on my property at 4 weeks old as orphans). She is smaller than the rouen and stands like a mallard, however she is bigger than other mallards her age bit a bit and she has two eye stripes. The rouen's tail feathers are brown and tan while the wild Ballard's are white. This duck in question has both kinds of tail feathers and her feathers look a bit different from the mallards. So I have started wondering if she could be a mix? The double eye stripes especially makes me wonder.
The middle pic the duck I'm question is on the right with the rouen in the middle and a couple random mallards are there too. First and last pic rouen on bottom duck in question above her.

So, all of them showed up together? I can definitely see a lot of traits in the questionable duck that are very Rouen-like, but she(?) does seem to have a finer build, and some of her feathers do look more like those of her(?) mallard buddies! I can’t see why she couldn’t be a mix! Hopefully, if this is the case, the father was the mallard!

Tha I you for your reply! Yes it was super weird! My house backs up to a creek and there is a wildlife reserve about 100ft from my house with ponds and tons of ducks and geese. Most are wild but there are a lot of domestic ones that have been dumped. Anyway 2 months ago a ground of 5 ducklings about 4 weeks old showed up in front of my house with no mama. I fed them and they started coming to my door 4 times a day to eat. They were so friendly, come to my voice and eat from my hand. Two were injured and we took them to a rescue so there are just 3 now. They just finished a molt and all three are females judging by their quack. I am thinking maybe they were dumped because what is a rouen duckling doing with mallard ducklings the same age? Although with domestic ducks at the ponds it's possible one mated with a mallard too. We are in the process of planning a duck house to give the rouen a home so I was wondering about the other one.
