Is this a lash egg?

I’ve seen lash eggs before, but never one like this. I suspect that’s what this is. It is from my 4 yo SLW who is recovering from injury. Although she had been laying regularly, she hasn’t laid now since end of April when she was first injured.

x3, really need a dissection photo or two. It looks like it could have lash material, but also looks like a very malformed egg, with something resembling a shell on one side, a membrane on the other, and yolk sorta squeezed into it.

If ever you get any weird eggs, we're always going to ask what's inside (and for photos).

At least you know which bird it is, so you can keep an eye on her.

So I I unfortunately do not have it. I just thought it was a lash egg and tossed it. Now I will say that Hubs and I just went digging through the lovely compost pile to see if it could be recovered, but alas, it was gone.

Just something to keep in mind if there is a next time (hopefully not, but good thing to remember).
