Is this a Leghorn?

I don't really mind having a cockerel. I wondered if he was a Leghorn since he matched the chick in the catalog.

I don't know that much about chicken breeds, so "exotic" means something other than RIR, EE, or Barred Rock (the only things my TSC seems to carry, besides "Bantam Mix").

I agree. Yellow/orange legs are a White rock and White Leghorn trait, not an Orpingtons'.

X3 on that. I don't think donrae was saying it might be an Orpington, but just that since it was supposedly an exotic breed, MM should have put something like a White Orpington (which MM does breed) into the box with the other chicks. Donrae, you can correct me if I'm wrong. :o)

small white ones---Leghorns
big white ones--Cornish Cross
red ones--RIR/production red
black ones-barred Rocks
tiny ones--mixed bantams
