Is this a Mallard or a Rouen???

I'm going to stress this again, it is highly unlikely that both of those ducks are the same age. If the rouen were the same age as the pekin, it should be fully feathered, just as the pekin appears to be. The rouen is most likely at least a week younger than the pekin.

I am 100% sure that they are the same age. I was with the person when they bought them... Not knowing that someday they would become mine. And the pekin only has feathers on it's chest, belly, and partially on it's tail... The exact same places that the brown duckling is feathered.

Well none of my Rouens have ever had any red markings. So I don't think it is all Mallard or Rouen. But again if they are close to the same age they would be much closer to the same size if it is Rouen.

But I am not a duck expert just a duck owner and lover

But there is my opinion for what it's worth

Oh, here is A Photo of my Rouens taken last Sept they were about 4 months old except for our 2 yr old Drake Peanut. Most of the Boys were just coming into their full color.
