Is this a meat spot? *pic*

I'm assuming that's what it is. This was floating freely in the white of one of the first eggs laid by our pullets. There was also a small blood spot in the chalazae. I just want to get familiar with the stuff you don't usually see from store eggs so I know what's really normal in a good home-grown egg!

(also what to look for if there are any problems)

Ooo, sorry, I should've added details

It is somewhat firm but pliable and the darker material seems to be 'around' the whitish material inside. It appeared to me to be like a 'dried' blood around a firm cream-color capsule.

It's a meat/blood spot. Generally, I end up calling anything kind of squishy in the egg, or with a bit of blood a meat spot.
