Is this a New Hampshire Red?

No those look like some kind of bantam this is what my New Hampshire red looks like.

I also have the same question. I was told this chicken was a RIR, but she looks more like a new Hampshire to me, her legs are def yellow. Any thoughts??

The problem with hatchery birds is that they are so badly bred. The hatchery usually doesn't care about the SOP so you get birds that are almost unrecognizable as a breed. You could have a New Hampshire or a Rhode Island Red. A SOP Rhode Island will be so dark red that she'll almost look black. And noth NH and RIR have yellow skin.

thanks for the info! I dont mind heinz 57 chickens...I just wish one of them would lay an egg!!!!

yeah but they are also still young, the claim was they were ~6 months old when I got them, so I was going to wait and see I have only had them since after thanksgiving.
