Thanks JP the lady that gave me those hens claimed that she was a RiR and the black ones black stars. The rooster (black and white speckled) I was told he was a dominecker but only pics that look like him are barred rocks

By looking at the picture, it looks like she got it right on the others. I have all these breeds and they look exactly the same. The rooster has a single comb otherwise i would have said he was a dominique, but still a beautiful bird none the less. He must be a barred rock.

Again thanks JP!! It never occurred to me to compare the combs good eye. I'm such a newbie at this even though this is my 3rd year having chickens. If u scroll up In this post I bought 5 of these chicks three weeks ago NHRs

I see you are'nt on right now, but you are welcome Kenneth. I don't know everything myself, I'm still learnin, but I'm glad i can help on what i do know. You are going to love those Rhodies, great birds, I have three 16 month old hens and three chicks 13 weeks old.
