Is this a normal amount of feather loss?

Just received this info and it's very helpful. The first one gives a good progression of molting, which feathers are lost in which order. The second one talks about feather loss in general.

Here's a site you might want to check out. Lots of good info. www.dpi.qld.gov.au/27_2709.htm Go down to the section on pullets. It talks about how many times they'll molt by a certain age.

The pullet

The chick goes through one complete and three partial moults during its growth to point of lay. Generally complete moulting occurs from 1-6 weeks of age and partial moulting at 7-9 weeks, 12-16 weeks and 20-22 weeks, and during this latter moult the stiff tail feathers are grown.
