Is this a pip?

Is it normal to see that much veining?? {See post #16}
Saw that in some eggs on day 18 during pre-lockdown candling, they started hatching the next day...tho not sure the veiny eggs were the ones that hatched first.
Today is day 20 and 12 of 21 have hatched.

The egg in the second pic with the veining looks underdeveloped to me. Are you still seeing movement in it?

The first pic looks nice and dark so hopefully in the next day you might see some action!
Yes, lots of movement in the veiny egg. The darker one’s air cell is tilting (drawdown?) and getting larger. Hopefully I’ll have chicks tomorrow!

One of the other eggs pipped!! It’s the weirdest looking pip I’ve ever seen but it’s definitely a pip! :celebrate:wee:wee

Congrats!!!
Which egg was that?

Is that your temp gauge in the middle?
Get it out of the water reservoir ;)

I just finished a hatch this morning, 17 our of 21.
It was the one with no veins (not the brown one but it was an olive egg).
Yes it is the little guy pushed it in there! She’s so active!!

Also that’s great for your hatch!!
