is this a prolapsed vent?

It's no problem. I know the new system is a little tricky right now.

Here's a photo without blood. (Sorry it's not a very good one)

What gives me pause about prolapse is this girl does not look red and bulbous. It's egg toned and pendulous (spelling?). That's why I'm looking for a second opinion.

Is it inflamed in the same general area? Is it possible you caught it in it's early stages? (Sorry for so many questions I'm not very familiar with chicken diseases. )

She has not redness, it is hanging from her vent. I may have caught it right away. Strange textured egg this morning and a bit larger than normal, but not overly huge.

I am about to clean away some feathers and try to get a better look. And may get another pic.

Well, not a prolapse. I'm thinking wonky egg. As I'm trimming feather it fell off, but some went back in (aw, crap). I did do a small vent exam and she was very fluid filled. I will uplaod what fell off for inspection and opinion.
