Is this a pullet?

Haven't done one of these in a while but my mom wants to know. Anyways, I have this gold laced wyandotte, between 6-8 weeks, and i keep wanting to say its a rooster due to it having no tail. But my mom denies it because she wants a hen. So I'm bringing it to the experts.
The last picture is my 4½ month old GLW roo for potential reference.

Tough call on this one, so much can change in the next few weeks.
Today I'm leaning Pullet, but only by a 51-49%.

It’s a pullet. You’re in Florida so I figure the comb is a little brighter because it’s hot there. But there isn’t any wattle development and the comb seems pink not fire truck red.
