Is this a quail?

My daughter lives in PA, and this little bird comes onto her porch numerous times a day and pretty much has been living in her yard. My daughter has been feeding it. I have no experience with quail, but I think that's what it is?

It's a chukkar, commonly hunted. Keep it away from any chickens to avoid passing diseases or parasites. Beautiful bird.

My daughter doesn't have any chickens, or other fowl.
