Is this a red worm in the poop?

This is not from my flock, I’m asking on behalf of someone else. She recently treated her flock with ivermectin pour on, and a few days later this poop happened from one. She thinks it’s gapeworm, I’m not so sure on that, but it does look odd. I’m probably going to suggest she use a wormer on her flock (aside from ivermectin pour on, which I understand many nematodes have developed resistances to).

To me the red stringy thing looks like a mucusy string of intestinal shed. Roundworms usually look white or cream colored like this:
